Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of transformational leadership and work discipline on organizational performance through simultaneous motivation, partially determine the effect of transformational leadership on organizational performance, determine the effect of work discipline on organizational performance partially, determine the effect of motivation on organizational performance partially, determine the effect of work discipline on organizational performance transformational leadership on organizational performance through motivation and knowing the effect of work discipline on organizational performance. The research was conducted on employees of PERUM Printing State of the Republic of Indonesia. Sampling involving 68 employees. Data analysis using path analysis.

The result of transformational leadership and work discipline simultaneously have an important influence on organizational performance. The transformational leadership variable partially affects organizational performance. The work discipline variable partially affects organizational performance. The motivation variable partially affects organizational performance. The direct influence of transformational leadership on organizational performance is 0.282 while the indirect effect of transformational leadership through motivation on organizational performance is 0.177x0.230=0.0407, which means that the value of indirect influence is greater than the value of direct influence so that it can be concluded that the motivation variable as intervention variables. The direct effect of work discipline on organizational performance is 0.045 while the indirect effect of work discipline through motivation on organizational performance is -0.124x0.230 = -0.02852, which means that the value of indirect influence is greater than the value of direct influence so that it can be concluded that the variable motivation as an intervening variable.
